2. Bring patient data from CSV and Excel files, FHIR servers and notes stores
3. Validate AI agents against labelled patients, and collect clinicians’ feedback on live results

Deep research (healthcare researchers)

Medbot’s deep research uses accepted medical and public health research methods to answer clinical questions. It runs a systematic review of PubMed for your question: it refines the question into PICO form, drafts inclusion and exclusion criteria, builds and tests the search, screens titles and abstracts, assesses full texts, extracts data, grades the certainty of the evidence (GRADE), and synthesises the answer as a meta-analysis or a narrative synthesis with a PRISMA flow. You can let it run on its own or work through it in a conversation with Medbot, and review and override every decision. It is built for healthcare researchers performing systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

Concurrently, Medbot’s deep research can be extrapolated to the clinician’s “Ask AI” feature. As the approach to selecting and reviewing medical evidence is similar to that of systematic review and meta analysis, it is likely to be superior to the general “deep research” feature offered by most AI providers.

Services (care teams and service administrators)

Medbot’s Services (formerly Care Programs) bring together a care team drawn from your organisation, a cohort of patients, and AI agents into one named care pathway. A service can send patients AI encounters for history taking, health education and financial counselling on the patient portal or on a clinic device, record consultations and draft clinical notes from them, run the clinic day from a Workstation linked to the Medbot CMS queue, and optionally turn on a patient-facing SMS/WhatsApp agent with deterministic safety screening and a review-before-send mode.
